Checking Inventory Stock Levels in Cin7
Different ways to check current stock levels and product availability in Cin7.
Steps to Follow
Option 1 — Stock on Hand report: go to Inventory → Products → Export Reports → Stock on Hand. This gives a full report of all current inventory with batch numbers and quantities.
Option 2 — Product Availability report: go to Reports → Inventory Reports → Product Availability. This report can be printed or exported and shows availability across all products.
Option 3 — Product Stock Level report: go to Reports → Inventory Reports → Product Stock Level Report. Shows current stock levels for all products.
Option 4 — Product Low Stock report: go to Reports → Inventory Reports → Product Low Stock. Note: this only works if a minimum stock threshold has been set per product. Currently not usable as thresholds have not been configured.
Use Cases
Checking how much stock we currently have before placing a new order.
Verifying what was received against a purchase order.
Comparing Cin7 stock levels to what is listed on the WooCommerce website.
Exporting a stock list to filter or check in Excel.
Notes
The Stock on Hand report exports all products — if categories are not properly set up, you will need to filter by SKU or product name in Excel.
The Product Availability report is the same data source used by the Cin7 API stock sync in the wiki.
The Low Stock report is currently not useful because minimum stock thresholds have not been set on individual products. All products default to 0, so the report shows everything.
Product categories in Cin7 have not been fully standardised yet — filtering by category in exports may not be reliable.
