How to Contact HubSpot Support
Explains how to reach HubSpot Support through live chat or by submitting a ticket directly from within HubSpot. Use this when an issue cannot be resolved through internal troubleshooting.
How to Start a Live Chat with HubSpot Support
Log in to your HubSpot account at app.hubspot.com.
Click the question mark (?) icon in the top right corner of the navigation bar.
A Help panel will slide out. Type a brief description of your issue in the search field — HubSpot will first suggest relevant knowledge base articles.
If the suggested articles don't resolve your issue, scroll down in the panel and select 'Chat' to connect with a live support specialist in real time.
Enter a brief Problem Overview and Description, then click Send Message to start the chat.
Note: HubSpot's chat may first connect you with an AI bot. If it cannot resolve the issue, it will hand off to a human specialist. Depending on support volume, live chat may not always be immediately available.
How to Submit a Support Ticket
Click the question mark (?) icon in the top right corner of the navigation bar.
In the Help panel, select 'Email' for a non-urgent ticket. You will typically receive a reply within one business day.
Select your preferred language, then fill in the Problem Overview and Description fields. Be as specific as possible — include which record, tool, or feature is affected and what you expected to happen versus what actually happened.
Attach any relevant screenshots using the attach icon, then click Submit.
To view your submitted tickets, click the (?) icon again and select 'View your support inbox', or go directly to your Support Inbox from the Help panel.
How to Request a Phone Callback
Click the question mark (?) icon in the top right corner of the navigation bar.
In the Help panel, select 'Call me'.
Enter the Problem Overview, Description, and the phone number to be called at, then click Submit. Callback is typically within five minutes but depends on support volume.
Note: phone and callback support are available on Professional and Enterprise subscriptions only.
Notes
Live chat is the fastest way to get help for urgent issues.
When submitting a ticket, always include the specific record or URL affected — HubSpot support can access your account but context speeds up resolution significantly.
After a chat ends, a full transcript is automatically emailed to you.
If a chat closes due to inactivity, it becomes a closed ticket — reply to the ticket email thread to continue, or start a new chat.
Check status.hubspot.com first if a tool appears to be completely down — if there is an active incident, a ticket is not needed.
Our subscription level determines support access — confirm with Gywen if you are unsure which channels are available on our plan.
