Logs and Attributes Not Saving in Cin7 (System Glitch)

Sometimes when updating a custom attribute in the Logs and Attributes tab of a Cin7 order (e.g. marking an order as Customer Received), clicking Save does nothing and the attribute does not update. This appears to be a Cin7 system glitch.

Steps to Follow

Go to the order in Cin7 and click the Logs and Attributes tab.
Enter or update the attribute value (e.g. Customer Received).
Click Save.
If nothing happens and the attribute does not update, close the order and reopen it.
Try updating the attribute again after reopening — in some cases this resolves it.
If the issue persists, try opening the Invoice associated with the order and authorising or refreshing from there, then return to Logs and Attributes.
If the attribute still won't save, log it with the Cin7 support team as a system glitch.

Use Cases

Trying to mark an order as Customer Received in Logs and Attributes for accounts reconciliation.
Updating any custom attribute on a completed order and the Save button is unresponsive.

Notes

This is a known intermittent Cin7 system glitch — it is not caused by anything the user is doing wrong.
The Logs and Attributes tab is used to track custom status information (e.g. Customer Received, delivery confirmation) that accounts need for reconciliation.
If the attribute update is needed for accounts and still won't save, escalate to the Cin7 support team with the order number.
This issue may be more likely to occur on already-completed or shipped orders.
